With this kit you are able to spend quality funtime with your child and have a memento to help keep these memories alive into the future. This kit is 100% Toxic free. This kit contains enough materials to make your childs handprint and extra “dough” for your child to use his/her imagination on.

Materials needed:

A mixing bowl

Measuring cup

Paper towels

Damp wash cloth

Directions:

Use a large mixing bowl and combine the kit’s powdered mixture with ¾ cup of water. Add the water slowly as you Knead all ingredients in mixing bowl till the mixture is of a “dough” consistency. Use more water if desired.  Use butter or  cooking oil to grease the bake pan provided in the kit. Put the dough in the silver bake pan, flatten out till pan is 1/3 full and smooth out the surface. Sprinkle hand with dry mix from the bowl. Place hand in the middle and firmly press hand down into the “dough” with free hand, making a nice shallow hand print. (careful not to put to much pressure on the heel of the hand.) make sure that the handprint is even and does not thin out the back of the dough. Place the pan in the oven at 250 degrees and bake for 2 hours.

After baking allow to cool. When handprint is removed from the pan and is cool it will be ready for the design of your choosing. Paint with tempera paint ,or acrylics. Add ribbons glitter or whatever your imagination can dream up.

Addition “dough”, either use this at the same time or save in the zip lock bag in which came the mix from the kit and store in the refrigerator until desired.

This also and excellent way to make Christmas ornaments. Allow children to design their own. Place small designs on a greased bakers pan and follow baking directions used with the handprint. Also try using magnets ion the back of small designs for the fridge. The list of ideas goes on and on.
