What is with all this "mortals" clap-trap? I think it's safe to say that we are all mortal here, and that blood-thirsty immortal vampires were an invention of Hollywood and never actually existed in folklore. The actual pre-Hollywood folklore vampire was not a pretty site or a romantic one. No one in their right mind would ever be seduced by the kind of vampires that were actually fabled. Watch the documentaries that come on the Discovery and Learning Channels, for god's sake! Do some folklore research in the library! Jeez!
