Becoming a so-called psychic vampire is relatively hard. You first have to know one, and he has to know how to feed a mortal his own essence. Which is a hard task for most. I've made 2 so far. Psychic vampires are far from immortal, but live lives much stronger than drinkers of blood. Sometimes one of us decides to make psychic vampires without ever telling that person <kinda rude if you ask me> A way you can know is, A> You feel a deep hunger often, that doesnt get replenished by food <not drug addictions ;P> B> You can almost see<or feel> the aura of a person. C> You've noticed that people have radical mood changes when in your presence, and you end up feeling alot better about the same time.

After refining your ability <playing around with the 'drinking' of essence.> You'll start to see the aura's of people more clearly, eventually becoming a visable glow. Different emotions cause the aura to radically change color. It's real fun to be able to mess with people ;P You can make a happy person suicidal, or a depressed person happy. Much more detailed though, almost to the point of choosing how they'll act and deciding choices for them, once you fully understand the human mind and emotions. The one drawback is, later on you become more detached from people and emotions. Basically you get more logical. Hope that helps some of you freaks out there.
