The old system still works, but it's gotten to the point where I can't modify it; I should have done it a long time ago, yeah, but I didn't want to mess with it; it's done using flakey technology which easily breaks, and it was working. I will probably continue to work, but not forever, and since I can't modify it to make it less serve intensive.... about the only thing I could think of was this. Sorry. You really should be using the new BBS system, anyway.

NEWS 7/28/2006: I just moved this board from a server I
controlled to a offsite host; this board is not only probably in violation of
their TOS, but they control the logs; if you post something weird, all law
enforcement has to do is ask the host and they will roll. Do not count on being
anonymous here anymore, people! I will try to have a free speech system set up
again as soon as possible, but again, this is NOT it anymore.
NEWS 8/03/2006: OK. Until I can restore from backup, the old posts are gone. I
strongly suggest you switch over to the
working BBS at least until I get the restore done, which will be at least a
week. NEWS 9/19/06: I'm still on dial-up; there is
just no flipping way I can do a restore by dial-up, and I'm in the sticks, so I
have to pay out the $$ for broadband; might be a while.
