Ask Granny

The Ask Granny WebPages!
In Association with Amazon.com I've been writing the ask granny syndicated newspaper column for about 30 years now. it's hard to tell when it really all started!
But the first newspaper to carry the column was the Salem, Illinois Times Commoner; from there, it's grown.
What this WebPages is going to try to do is give you the columns, as they are written, with as little lag as possible.

MOST of the Ask Granny postings are easier seen over at Yahoo Group "Recipes & Reminiscing

Previous Ask Granny

I'm just now moving into the computer era; up until now, all the articles were handwritten, and submitted in that form to the syndicators. I do have the clippings from the newspapers, but some of them are pretty yellowed, and OCR programs will not read them easily. For now, I'm not going to make a big effort to put the old articles into digital format.......Unless I get a LOT of requests to do so!

If The Dummies books are the greatest thing since sliced bread for new computer users, Carla Emery's Encyclopedia of country living  covers everything else (cityslickers included).
