There is a Pseudo-Religion that is an established fact in the world of modern day America; it's called the religion of Equality.
The basic thought behind this is that all Men & Women are exactly the same, should have exactly the same material possessions, have the same ability to reach an informed decision, and should be able to perform any task any other person can do.
The followers of this cult do not actually (as far as I know) think in exactly this way; when they think about it at all, they might look at someone who is better employed, better looking, has a better health care plan, whatever and think to themselves "That's not fair! I have just as much right to that as that person does!".
Why is this? Oh, I know that the government is rapidly passing laws making it hard to be different from anyone else, but what is the basic cause of this?
It's a mystery to me.
Of course, you could go up to that same person and ask them if they were as good at physics as Einstien, or if they could tie Magic Johnson in a game of 1-on-1, or if they could beat Sylvester Stallone arm wrestling and they would look at you like you were crazy.
The fact of the matter is, is that all people are NOT created equal. every individual on this planet is unique, with different skills and abilities.

It follows that some people are better than others, on the average.
Here are a Few Lies:

The Northern European Climate is harsher than the climate in most of the African continent; It is harder to survive. In order to survive, humanity in that section of the world had more of a need to develop technology. While a genetic affinity for technological affinity is unproven, It is my opinion that individuals whose gene pool is from a harsh climate are more likely to do well with technology.
I really have no opinion on this; My thought is is that people are more likely to see people of the Jewish faith in money-handling positions just because "everybody knows Jews are better at handling money".
On the average in America today, black families make less money than white families; this on the average limits the resources available to black children to gain affluence in life. It is apparent to me that sports is often the only viable path to affluence for black children.
Men are on the average larger than women, with a obvious result that they are physically stronger. Women have been proven to have faster reaction time than men, and greater endurance. As to mental equality, women in our culture are still punished for being smart.

I would have to disagree. All men are created equal with the common ability to make a choice for the destiny of their life. We have all been given a portion of our anatomy called a ceribrial cortex allowing us to choose our life paths. This ceribrial cortex is what differentiates man from the rest of the animal kingdom. We were all created with the same equipment for decision making it's how we choose to use the tools we have that separates us.

"All men are created equal" means to me that no one on this earth can say to another that I am more valuable or better than you because of social status,job, or race. This statement tells me that we are all part of the whole. That each person has a soul and under one divine creator. Although all of us have our own unique abilities, and some may have more skills than another, we are all equal. The white man can't say to the black man that "you are my slave". That is wrong. History has shown that many races that are thought to be "primitive" to the white race are not. They are just as capable of keeping up with technology than whites. My history teacher is a black man, The majority of the school is black, I am the only white student in that class. Not everyone hates on me but the other day he made it clear why they shouldn't.He said" Disi goes to the same school to the same class to learn the samething out of the same book of white lies. I believe what the Declaration of Independence meant when it says "all men are created equal" is that everyone has the same unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness. Of course people with a deformed feet are not "equal" to others with regular feet in terms of advantages in life, that should not be in debate. As a result, any minority can become an inscrutable sovereign entity within a given nation under the language of political correctness. This is where the problem lies. Minorities in the United States have become sovereign entities, and with the help of liberal multiculturalism and politically correct language, they are distancing themselves and playing the victim. If you are stuck on p.c. language then you are helping minorities become more alienated. If we as a society thought of everyone as human beings and individuals instead of groups of people, then we wouldn't need p.c. language at all. The only correction I have to your statements is that blacks don't dominate every sport. Whites have, on average, more upper body strength than blacks or asians. Whites tend to dominate events that require strength over speed (field events in track and field, weightlifting and wrestling are prime examples). When you take all of sports into account, blacks, surprisingly, don't dominate all sports. Boxing may be used as an example to contradict this(that whites are stronger), but looking at other 'fighting' type sports reveals whites tend to do better than blacks (UFC, toughman competitions, etc). That's all.

I think that what is meant by that is that all men deserve to be treated with fairness and respect so that they have an opportunity to let their talents show. I am a person that thinks all people are created equal. By this I mean everyone should have the same rights. I do not mean that someone is as equal intelligence in math as someone else, I mean that as a person that they are equal. We all have the same basic organs, we all breathe the same air, and we all need the same things to survive!!! The color of our skin makes no difference on any of the important things in life, and still people make it where it is hard for people to enjoy life due to discrimination of their color. So in the end if you think about all people are created equal.
Someone brought up the fact of a baby born in the US and one born in Iraq. Although these two infants would notgrow up with he same oppotunities, don't you think that they would have the same value and should, in a perfect world (that I believe will never exist), have the right to the same opportunities? Just because people don't have the same abilities, does not mean that they are not equals. I agree, men and woman are not equals physically. But that is looking at only one aspect. If a woman can do the physical training that a man is required to do in the military, proves that she has the same strength and abilities that a man has, then allow her in. Just because one has the same opporunity (she is allowed to try to enter the military, just like the men) doesn't mean they should be allowed all of the same privilages. For instance, if there is an opening for an accounting position, I think that mentally challenge individuals should be allowed the opportunity to apply. But if they are not qualified, I don't think they should get the job. Equality and ability are not the same thing and shuld not be confused. I think everyone is looking at this in the wrong light. When ones says "everyman is created equaly", it is not to say that all people have the same physical and mental attributes, but more that they all can be what they want to be, or do waht they want to do with there lives, with no 3rd party restraining them. However I bleive that all people are not created equaly on a genetic standpoint. I believe that for instance yes black people are better at sports because of their phisical attributes that that race has aquirred through evolution. Living in Africa requires much more strength, and physical power than living in lets say Europe and there for, Black people have aquired not an unatural strenght per say, but an advantage that they require to survive in their climate. These traits have been passed on, and now black people ahve become better at sports because most sports require that physical strenght. Every inequality between the races is due to evolution, and therefore it is true when one says "black people are better at sports" or "White people are smarter" ( That can be explained by the uneeded physical attributes, and therefore the body can focus on mental enhancement ) This is not racest.

I doubt that many people literally believe that "all men are created equal." Of course people are different in a multitude of ways. The beauty of this statement is in its unflenching hope. It is an ideal for which to strive, a dream for the future that our forefathers believed we may someday achieve. By "equality" those wise old men were saying that there should be someplace where everyone has an equal footing, a fair chance, the same starting point in the race of life. Obviously this still continues to be a dream- largely because of shortsighted people such as yourself. We will never be literally "equal" but we should ask ourselves why the gap between the rich and the poor is so unbelievably wide. It is a chasm that Evil himself wouldn't dare try to jump. Is Bill Gates really tens of billions of dollars smarter than we are? Why is it that no American knows the truth about the constitutional phrase, 'all men are created equal'? The truth is that in Jefferson's Original draught, (draught is the way they spelled 'draft' in those days)....The phrase was written, 'All men are created free and independant' In other words, the phrase only meant to overcome class inequalities. In those days, only aristocrats could become doctors, etc. Later, Benjamin Franklin and Alexander Hamilton edited the phrase to make it more poetically correct. The phrase was never intended to convey racial or sexual equality. Its only been misinterpeted lately to mean so. Racial or sexual equality has never been defined, much less entered into law. The fact that so few people know this would be funny, if it wasn't so sad.
I have to agree with most of your comments, but the forming of technology as we know it came more from the clash of different cultures and people from different territories and the technologies they formed as well. I guess war and culture-shock played a great role in this as well. As for who's smarter, if your talking about scholasticism or maintaining the integrity of ready-made theories (all of which come from cuddling up with a good book), but true smarts or intelligence is intrinsic in our very being, as we interact with our environment; be it negative or positive, physical or social, male or female. I guess one could appeare to be smarter if their views and needs are neglected in a world where everyone's experience and then the wisdom they form from that experience is so obviously needed for the sum total as we form a more rounded reality for everyone.

The equality of men, was first more of a philosophical endeavor; pointing the way to a much better way of life. Which is more solidified in the all around functions of mankind. It is within these various functions (The function of the father, mother and so forth, on to the social structures and civilizations that are born out of such structures). Africa is underdeveloped technologically speaking because she has been under constant colonial occupation and disription-there was simply never any time to advance. also, Africans knew that just because it was POSSIBLE doesnt mean it should be harnessed or created. the gun and powder were invented long before the european or asians caught wind of them, but the nile africans and egyptians thought such a weapon a disgrace and dishonerable. as for their ancestors living in america today..the school and educational system is run by whites, who have a different thought process and physcological makeup than blacks, which is why they consitantly underperform in so-called IQ tests and european grading standards (black children also aren't interseted in learning only about old white men and what they did for history). "ebonics" is simly the african mind correcting the harsh english language. ask any person of asian origin who speaks any of the mediterranean languages and they will tell you that english is, literally, painful to speak. that is why asians who just learn to speak english or have a strong accent have an ebonic pronounciation.

And its been my experience women usually don't make rational sense, reason and things like rationalizing are done irrespective of emotions, something women have a hard time getting control of. You all seem to forget, all the great thinkers from ancient times until now have been for the most part men, be they greek or african, from china or japan. Its only been in recent times (last 20 years or so) that society is really beginning to see the effects of continuous wars and jail sentences, all of which played a part in the de-intellectualizing of the men! There was a time when it was manly to be intelligent, now its brutality on the football field. Women are not smarter then men, so stop saying that dumb shit, its not true! women when given a chance can do very well, but one's knowledge rests on character and virtue, to obtaine some knowledge one has to Be brave for instance, and being brave is something few societies cultivate in their women.
I think that's true; that would explain why most women tend to be religious in their thinking, and all the churches tend to be filled with them!! Their religion, is their science! And why, maybe because religion makes them feel like their actually being educated, while catering to their emotions all the while.
what about theacher student should what makes the teacher come to school every day? is it the fat pay cheak they get or the "smiling faces of kids" what happens to them if they don't? do they have cops chace after them. do students or teenagers have the same rights? can they make there own choces? can they be like the priciple and live with there buddies on school days and play golf while other people do there dirty work? or can a student scream back if a teacher is on them about something or degrating them. do the youth have any rights at all? are we free? can we chose are own path without having it done for us? is it enough to cage the mind and heart of the youth every where?does what we think even matter?
i think its stupid that no one is standing up for their rights, everyone was born free and with teh same opertunities. I dont think that thats the only reasons why some black children become athlets, or because Jews are "good money handlers". Some children look up to those athletes. The reason why i am saying this is because people hate it when other people make sterio types, well everyone can accomplish their dreams and i think that even the poorest person in the world could be the most successful one in the group if they just follow their dreams. Nope, all men ARE created equal in the eyes of God. But not neccesarily equal in other aspects of life.
Black people aren't better at sports than any other race, they excel at sports because they think they HAVE TO to become a success.
