I personally hate pop-up ads. I'm not real happy about banner ads, or selling user information, either. i'm actually a little fanatically against it.

Here, in a nutshell, is my plan:

if people don't come flocking like maddened geese to this server, i'll just fool around with it, updating it occasionally, and fold it in to my bandwidth load.

If people like the concept, i'll do a couple of things, like set it up so clans can have their very own server, actually a machine all their own, with its own IP, web server, bandwidth, etc. for $100 a month, $100 deposit.

Or maybe just a virtual server, for $20 a month, with a LOT less bandwidth. and none of that "oh, you exceeded your bandwidth limits, you owe me $8,432 for last month", either. fixed.
