The Monk is a martial artist/mystic that combines unarmed combat
and the disciplines of the mind. Through arduous physical training and
quasi-religious study the Monk seeks to develop the power of the mind over the
weakness of the flesh.
Monks are generally reclusive by nature spending endless hours of meditation and
study in the confines of a monastery. Monks are recognized by Ecclesiastics,
Nobles, and some Soldiers.
The required abilities are Unarmed Combat, Physique, Psychogenics and Learning.
12th Rank, Initiate. Unarmed Combat only possessed.
11th Rank, Initiate Minor. Unarmed Combat and Physique possessed. Membership in
a temple or monastery.
10th Rank, Initiate Major. Unarmed Combat, Physique and Psychogenics possessed.
9th Rank, Monk. All four required abilities possessed. Add 2 points to each of
the four Abilities possessed; however Unarmed Combat cannot cause Avatar to move
to a higher rank. Gain weapon associated with Monastery.
8th Rank, Monk Superior. Unarmed Combat at 61. Add 3 points to Physique,
Psychogenics and Learning.
7th Rank, Monk Minor Master. Unarmed Combat at 71. Add Weapons at 20 or add 10
if ability is possessed.
6th Rank, Monk Major Master, Unarmed Combat at 81. Add 2 points to other three
abilities.
5th Rank, Monk Grand Master, Unarmed Combat at 91. Add Evaluation at 20 or add
10 if possessed.
4th Rank, Monk Adept, Unarmed Combat at 101. Add 2 points to each of the three
other abilities.
3rd Rank, Monk Superior Adept, Unarmed Combat at 111. Add Stealth at 20 or add
10 if possessed.
2nd Rank, Monk Sovereign, Unarmed Combat at 121. Add 2 to other three abilities.
1st Rank, Monk Transcendent, Unarmed Combat at 131. Add Rustic at 20 or add 10
if possessed.
