Basic Definitions
The website is hosted on one of our 3 servers, vrhome.com/yourname, vrpro.net/yourname or galaxycomputers.net/yourname. this list of domains will increase gradually. The webs are on NT boxes, and are using Office:2000 server extensions, which are fully compatable with all current versions of Microsoft Frontpage and include some additional features . you have 50MB of space available, and are limited to 64kbps throughput; there are no "hit" or transfer limits. You will need a version of Microsoft Frontpage to fully make use of this website; MS web publishing wizard and web folders are also supported (but they are a little flakey). FTP is NOT supported. your logfiles can be stored in your web, but EVERYTHING in your web counts toward the 50MB limit. We would prefer you do NOT host adult material, but if you do we insist that you use due diligence to comply with the laws of the area in which you reside.
You get an email address, you@changestorm.com, which you can use however you want. it can be used via web frontend, IMAP4, or POP3. you can have a max of 10MB of mail in your account before it will stop working. SPAM will NOT be tolerated.
You get your very own persistent IRC/IRCX channel on our server; 66.38.8.41#yourname, and we set up a web interface that you can modify as you see fit in your folder. maximum 100 users. we insist that you use due diligence to comply with the laws of the area in which you reside regarding the IRC service.
You get your own newsgroup. news://vrhome.yourname . we can only guarantee that you will be able to access this via our server, but several of our created groups have entered into public usage via our feeds. This group is moderated by you by default.
You get full access to every group on our server; this is SLOWLY growing, right now it mainly covers the 2600 newsgroups, but it's growing....
We run an anonymous proxy server; you would be able to configure your browser so that all your internet traffic comes from our site. SOCKS is not currently supported, but is planned.

You can have your website set up as yourname.vrhome.com, or yourname.(whatever domains we have available). this address can be included in an e-mail alias.
Perl v5.22. scripts must be configured as .pl to run, and will not function if SENDMAIL is required.
